Role Overview

We are hiring experienced Data Engineers / Backend Platform Engineers to build scalable, high-performance data-driven backend systems. The focus is on API development, cloud-native architecture, and distributed data platforms.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of software engineering or backend development experience
• Strong experience in API development (REST & GraphQL)
• Solid understanding of database design, optimization (SQL & NoSQL)
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or OCI)
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in at least one backend language:
• Java (Spring Boot) OR
• Python OR
• Node.js

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data-driven APIs (REST & GraphQL)
• Build and optimize backend services connected to relational and NoSQL databases
• Design and manage GraphQL schemas, resolvers, and API performance
• Implement API security, versioning, and governance best practices
• Deploy and manage services using Docker & Kubernetes
• Work with AWS or OCI cloud services to build scalable systems
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application and database performance
• Participate in architecture discussions and mentor junior engineers
• Collaborate with data, product, and engineering teams
